The construction team is limited to not more than 20 team members (a restriction imposed by the Diocese of the Dominican Republic). I already have the $100 deposits from 8 and verbal assurances from 5 more people (for a total of 13)! So, there are only 7 potential spots open. If you are interested do not delay! Place of Mission and Type of Work to be Done: At this time Bishop Holguin has not made a decision as to where he will ask us to go for our next mission. However, we have completed our pew project at San Marcos and will not be going back there. I do believe that Bishop was so pleased with our pews that we will of certainty be asked to build more furniture. That could be more pews or could be school desks, chairs, or altar implements. That remains to be seen. Meanwhile, there has been some suggestion that we may be asked to go to a new church near San Pedro Macoris (right on the Caribbean in the south-eastern part of the island) to build them some pews. If we do, there is a very nice hotel right on the water where I have stayed with the Medical/Dental team. Where ever we go, I believe that it will be somewhere we have not been before.
