St. Christopher's Summer Serenade Concert Series continues every Wednesday through July 30th on the lawn of St. Christopher's Church. Concerts are free! Please bring your own chairs. In case of rain, concerts will be moved inside to the parish hall. Part of St. Christopher's Outreach Program, these concerts have been enthusiastically received both by Episcopal participants and the community at large. Sandwiches, soft drinks and ice cream are for sale by church members, although participants may bring their own fare. St. Christopher's is located at 3200 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, Fl.

Icon Painting Class St. Francis, Gulf Breeze
Hosted by St. Francis, Gulf Breeze, this Icon Painting class will be held July 12th, 19th, 26th and August 2nd, 9th. This guided step-by-step process will teach how to produce icons for the glory of God. All materials furnished (gesso wooden panel, drawing for icon, 12 tubes of paints, all necessary brushes and 23K gold leaf). No prior art experience necessary; the only requirement is the desire to proclaim the Good News of the Incarnation
and that Jesus Christ is Lord . . . in color! Classes will be in the parish hall and all icons will be blessed
by The Rev. Al Pruitt upon completion. Total cost of the class is $450 with a $125 deposit requested at
sign up. Class is limited to 15 persons. Deadline for registration is June 1st. Checks should be made
payable to St. Francis of Assisi and designated Icon Workshop. For further information, call Patricia

Annual Jonathan Myrick Daniels Pilgrimage and Procession Hayneville, Al

This annual pilgrimage and procession in Hayneville, Al (near Montgomery) celebrates the life of Jonathan Myrick Daniels, an Episcopal seminarian who was killed in 1965 while working in the civil rights movement in Alabama. He has been placed on the Episcopal Church's Calendar of Saints and Martyrs. This event has become increasingly popular and attacts pilgrims nationally and internationally and is sponsored by the Diocese of Alabama and the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast.
