St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals, Family Festival & Bazaar

St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church will hold its annual St. Francis Day Celebration & Bazaar on Saturday, October 5th at 1 St. Francis Drive in Gulf Breeze, FL 32561. The day begins at 10 am with the “Blessing of the Animals” behind the church. 

New to the St. Francis Day this year is an “Arts & Crafts” Bazaar where, from 10 am until 4 pm, artists will be offering their crafts for sale at more than 25 booths located inside and outside the church. 

Our Traditional Fish Fry with cheese grits and sides will begin at 11 am. Hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings included. The cost is $8 for adults. Kids (under 10) eat FREE. Be sure to visit our Bake Sale for a wide assortment of delicious baked goods to take home. 

Kids will have a blast with FREE activities including pony rides, face painting, balloon twisting, Giggles the Clown, bean bag toss games, and Bubbles Galore. 

An all-day live music Concert in the church garden includes: Jack Grimley; Greg Afek (Rock, R&B); Colt Weston (Country, Rock); Bob Foster (Jazz, Rock); and Blue Train (Blues, Americana).Between music acts, there will be K-9 Demonstrations by the Santa Rosa County K-9 Unit and the Gulf Breeze Police Department K-9 Loki. 

The Friends of the Escambia County Animal Shelter will have pets to adopt and Coastal Sunrise Animal Hospital will offer discounted vaccinations for dogs and cats. 

Parking is available on church grounds with additional parking at the Andrew Institute for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at 1040 Gulf Breeze Parkway. St. Francis is one block west of the Andrews facility.
