Beckwith Camp and Retreat Center recently received a grant from the Holy Spirit Thrift Shop in the amount of $11,000. A check was presented to Eleanor Reeves, executive director, who reports that the grant will be used towards the cost of roof repairs. The Thrift Shop is delighted to present these monies to Beckwith as we continue to partner with them in making this great facility welcoming and available to the people of the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast and beyond! Such grants are made possible by the wonderful work of our volunteers, the generosity of our donors, and the loyalty of our shoppers. The Holy Sprit Thrift Shop is an outreach ministry of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Gulf Shores, AL. The store is located at 6798 Hwy 59. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Donations of gently used clothing, furniture, and household goods are gladly received each day the store is open from 10:00 am until 30 minutes before closing.
