Yesterday was a day of committee meetings and orientation. We spent time together gathering as a deputation for lunch and Austin has a pretty impressive fireworks display.
Presiding Bishop Curry and President Gay Jennings addressed a joint session of the both houses yesterday. During Bishop Curry's address, there were several pigeons that were spotted. The ensuing references to the presence of the Holy Spirit were made and a new Twitter has even been created for the General Convention #79 pigeon.
