Raise the Roof Project is a 10-year-old shared ministry between Dauphin Way United Methodist Church and St. Paul’s, Mobile. Beloved Community Outreach Center is a new ministry project of the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast that started in November of 2020. Due to COVID-19, Raise the Roof is not operating at its full capacity, and as a new ministry Beloved Community Outreach Center is still working on getting to know the Mobile community. Together, along with friends and neighbors like you, we are sharing in a weeklong celebration of giving and receiving love, Sunday, June 20th-Thursday, June 24!
Throughout Be Loved Mobile Week, there will be opportunities to take part in outreach like a Raise the Roof construction projection, Laundry Love at Green Cleen Laundromat, and Free Listening in Bienville Square, or making lunches for our volunteers and friends we serve. In giving and receiving love we also want to share in worship and fellowship, so there will be opportunities like Prayers in the Park, Movie in the Meadow, and our Celebration Picnic Lunch. There are many ways you can help make this dream come to life! See below for a detailed schedule of events, volunteer opportunities, and how you can sign up to help through donations of time, talent or resource. God’s love for each and every one of us is abundant beyond comprehension. Invite a friend, and come share that outpouring of God’s love for neighbors in our community!
